Join the RIfS Scientific Steering Group!

We are currently filling one off-cycle opening. This is the highest level coordinating body for RIfS. Please read more about the role of the SSG in the RIfS Science Plan.

Joining the SSG of a WCRP Core Project is a substantial service commitment. If you think you can help us with the task of building a community to address important regional climate information gaps, please read more about what we’re looking for, and nominate yourself here. Deadline September 15th, for term to start in 2026. Deadline extended to September 30th!

If you are more interested in contributing directly to the frontier research in one of our focus areas, consider joining a Task Team or a Working Group or other RIfS subsidiary body as calls open from time to time.

 

Rejoignez le Groupe de pilotage scientifique du  RIfS !

Un poste hors cycle est actuellement à pourvoir. Il s’agit de l’organe de coordination du plus haut niveau pour le RIfS. Pour en savoir plus sur le rôle du SSG, consultez le plan scientifique du RIfS (en anglais).

Rejoindre le SSG d’un projet central du WCRP est un engagement substantiel. Si vous pensez pouvoir nous aider à construire une communauté pour combler les lacunes importantes en matière d’informations climatiques régionales, veuillez lire ce que nous recherchons et proposer votre candidature ici (en anglais). La date limite est le 15 septembre, pour un mandat commençant en 2026. Nouvelle date limite: 30 septembre!

Si vous souhaitez plutôt contribuer directement à la recherche exploratoire dans l’un de nos domaines d’action, vous pouvez envisager de rejoindre une équipe spéciale, un groupe de travail ou un autre organe subsidiaire du RIfS, en fonction des appels à candidatures lancés de temps à autre.
